I’m an advisor, angel investor, and advocate in emerging technologies, with over 30 years of experience  as a tech entrepreneur. I founded my first internet company straight after university, focused on fax modems - what we might now call early internet infrastructure. After a successful exit, I joined the executive team at Genesys Conferencing, where we helped establish now-standard tools like webinars, digital earnings calls, and remote training, culminating in a $300M+ acquisition by West Corporation in 2008.

I then invested in and led global sales at another telecom tech company (InComm) while beginning my own technology investment and advisory, Bluesphere. That work led me into the world of digital assets. In 2014, I joined Bitfury’s leadership team, working across cryptoasset mining, chip design, enterprise blockchain, and AI hardware. Seeing the need for direct regulatory engagement, I founded and led INATBA, the EU-backed blockchain trade body involved in shaping MiCA and other digital asset policies.

After several successful years, I co-founded XEROF, a Swiss fintech bridging traditional finance and cryptoassets. I still advise this organisation, as well as serve as an independent consultant and angel investor for other enterprises, startups and technologists through my firm, Bluesphere.
